Which state has implemented National Food Security Act, 2013 – Odisha
किस राज्य मे राष्ट्रीय खाद्य सुरक्षा अधिनियम, 2013 लागू किया गया है – ओडिशा
Odisha has implemented National Food Security Act (NFSA), 2013 in 14 of the 30 districts.
The 14 districts include Balangir, Deogarh, Gajapati, Jharsuguda, Kandhamal,Sambalpur, Sonepur, Bargarh, Boudh, Koraput, Malkangiri, Nuapada, Kalahandi and Angul.
In the first phase, the beneficiaries would get 5 kg of wheat at 2 rupees or 5 kg of rice at 3 rupees from PDS centres.

विहिप नेता अशोक सिंघल का कल निधन हो गया
The patron of the Vishwa Hindu Parishad (VHP) Ashok Singhal passed away on 17 November 2015 in Gurgaon due to a prolonged illness. He was 89. Singhal served as the international working president of the Hindu organisation for over 20 years.
Singhal was a key organiser of the first VHP Dharma Sansad held at Vigyan Bhavan in New Delhi in 1984. The Sansad gave birth to the movement for reclaiming the Ramjanmabhoomi temple. Later, he became the main leader of the Ramjanmabhoomi movement.
Standard Chartered names Zarin Daruwala as new India CEO
Zarin Daruwala will join as the India chief executive officer at Standard Chartered Bank, the international lender said in a statement on Tuesday. Daruwala was president of the wholesale lending team at ICICI Bank Ltd. Daruwala will report to Ajay Kanwal, regional CEO, ASEAN & South Asia at Standard Chartered.
In July, Standard Chartered had announced a revamp of its core management team. Sunil Kaushal, who was heading the India operations, was moved and appointed as regional chief for Africa and Middle East.
भारत में स्टैंडर्ड चार्टर्ड बैंक की सीईओ बनीं जरीन दारुवाला
स्टैंडर्ड चार्टर्ड ने भारत में स्टैंडर्ड चार्टर्ड बैंक के सीईओ पद पर जरीन दारुवाला की नियुक्ति की घोषणा की है। कंपनी ने सुनील कौशल की रीजनल सीईओ (अफ्रीका और मध्य पूर्व) के पद पर तैनाती के बाद घोषणा की है।
जरीन वर्तमान में आईसीआईसीआई बैंक में व्होलसेल बैंकिंग ग्रुप के प्रेसिडेंट पद पर कार्यरत हैं। उनके इंडस्ट्री में 25 साल के अनुभव को देखते हुए नियुक्त किया गया है।

China’s Chia Hung Lu won the BWF World Junior Badminton Championships at the Boys’ singles event. Young shuttler Siril Verma managed for the silver medal.
With this feat, Verma joined the ranks of R.M.V. Gurusaidutt, Sameer Verma, Saina Nehwal, P.V. Sindhu and H.S. Prannoy to win medals for India in the World junior championships.
Indian Red Cross Secretary General Dr. Satya Paul Agarwal passes away
Well-known neurosurgeon and Secretary General of Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) Dr. Satya Paul Agarwal passed away in New Delhi.
He had played pivotal role in execution of various disaster and emergency relief operations and control of disease and epidemics outbreak in the country.
He was serving as Secretary General of Indian Red Cross Society since 2005. He was also the Chair of the International Federation of Red Cross and Red Crescent Advisory Body on Sustainable Development and Health.

अंतरराष्ट्रीय फुटबॉल संगठन फीफा ने भ्रष्टाचार के मामले में नेपाल के फुटबॉल प्रमुख गणेश थापा पर 10 वर्ष का प्रतिबंध लगाया है|
फीफा की नैतिक समिति ने कहा कि थापा को वर्ष 2009 और 2011 में फीफा कार्यकारिणी के चुनाव के लिए विशेष तौर पर रिश्वत दी गई है| दस वर्ष के प्रतिबंध के अलावा थापा पर 20,000 स्विस फ्रैंक का जुर्माना भी किया गया|
International Day for Tolerance observed across the world on – 16 November
The International Day for Tolerance was observed globally on 16 November 2015 with an aim to educate people about the need for tolerance in society and help them understand the negative effects of intolerance.
This action came in the wake of the United Nations Year for Tolerance 1995, proclaimed by the UNGA in 1993. On 16 November 1995, the UNESCO member states adopted the Declaration of Principles on Tolerance and Follow-up Plan of Action for the year.

Which government has introduced Mobile Governance – Jharkhand government
The Jharkhand Chief Minister Raghubar Das on 15 November 2015 introduced Mobile Governance in the state to realise the dreams of Digital India during the occasion of 16th Foundation Day of the state.
