- FLYING BRANCH
Candidates should have BE/B.Tech degree with aggregate 60% marks from a recognized University or Graduates (Minimum 3 year graduation course) in any stream from a recognized University
Age Limit: 20 to 24 years as on 01 Jan 2017 Born between 02 Jan 1993 to 01 Jan 1997
- TECHNICAL BRANCH
Applicants who applying for Aeronautical Engineer (Electronics branch and Mechanical branch) should have passed with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks in all papers of Exam
Age Limit: 20 to 26 years as on 01 Jan 2017 born between 02 Jan 1991 to 01 Jan 1997
- GROUND DUTY BRANCH
Applications must completed Graduation degree with Minimum 60 % marks or master Degree with minimum 50 % marks in any stream

AFCAT 1 2016 Selection Procedure
Candidates who applied for AFCAT 1 2016 will be called for written exam of Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) and Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT). For more details see official notification

Firstly 100 questions written test held total time is 2 hour candidates who have Technical Branch an addition test of EKT both tests are objective type. Candidates who succeed in Test will get a chance to appear for AFSB and recommended candidates can be called for training based on their rank in the merit list and subject to medical fitness
