GATE 2016 Cut-off Marks- Based on previous year cut-off marks, we are publishing expected cut-off marks branch wise i.e.  ECE, ME, EE, Civil, CS & IT etc

Engineering graduates who wants to shape his/her career by pursuing Post Graduation from India’ renowned institute’s like either one of seven Indian Institute of Technology (IITs) or Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore (IISc) jointly conducts Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) which was conducted by IIT, Kanpur this year (2016). The score received thereafter helps candidates in acquiring admission for M.E. & M.Tech course at IITs & IISc. Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) score is very much important for candidate as 70% of GATE weightage is given to GATE Score (Marks) secured, while 30% of weightage is given to Interview and his/her academic profile during providing admission to PG Courses at IITs or IISc.

Like every year candidates from all of over India participate in GATE examination to check their luck so as to pursue post graduation degree in various Engineering / Technology discipline.  As per directions given by Ministry of Human Resource Development, a valid score of GATE can even give candidate an financial assistance in his/her area of study or research further on.  There are many Public Sector Units (PSUs) which also considers GATE score and give recruitment to candidates on merit basis. Few of PSUs of our country are Indian Oil Corporation Limited (IOCL), Bharat Heavy Engineering Limited (BHEL), National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) & Power Grid India.

Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE) 2016 was conducted this year on 31st January, 1st, 7th and 8th February, 2015. While result is expected to release from IIT, Kanpur on their official websites http://gate.iitk.ac.in/GATE2015/ on 12th March, 2015 at 5:00PM. Cutoff is the minimum marks which are set by committee which looks after the admission process into Post Graduate courses in all IITs and IISc from eligible candidates who appeared in GATE 2016 examination.

Based on last two years cut off and marks we are hereby giving an approx. cutoff for the GATE 2016 after comparing it with 2014’s cutoff marks for General, Other Backward Caste (OBC) Non-creamy layer and SC/ST are being provided so as to help & judge themselves to know their position before official announcement comes from Indian Institute of Technology, Kanpur (IITK). Meanwhile GATE 2015 score cards can be downloaded from 27th March, 2015 to 29th May, 2015 for which candidates are required to check their respectively zone’s website from where candidate has given his/her examination.
